In our ever-globalising and digital world, communications has become a discipline of increasing importance. As corporate communications moves from “nice to have” to “absolutely essential” the expectations and demands towards professionals have grown tremendously – and our colleagues demonstrate the potential of our profession every day producing fine and high-quality communication output.

The Asia-Pacific Communications Award recognises outstanding achievements, rewards innovative communication strategies and showcases the very best practices from the world of public relations, corporate communications and public affairs. In the spirit of our association, the Asia-Pacific Association of Communication Directors, the award will be entered, judged and awarded “by peers, for peers”.

In a transparent and independent competition, a high-level jury panel formed by leading corporate communicators and public affairs professionals evaluates remarkable submissions from 12 different categories. Entries will be open to all in-house communicators from across the Asia-Pacific region.

The diversity of the contemporary communications function will be reflected through various Award categories: Campaign by a company, campaign by an association, campaign by a governmental institution, campaign by a NGO, internal and change communication, crisis communication, social media strategy, public affairs, evaluation and measurement, reputation management, communication team/department of the year, and young communicators of the year. Looking at all submissions, our jury panel will vote on the final category “achievement of the year” honouring the very best submission.

 

….and celebrate with Asia-Pacific’s communications community!

The deadline for all entries will be August 14th, 2015. Our jury panel will then carefully review all submissions on our selection criteria: main idea, strategy and integration of communication tools, innovation, creativity, and results and efficiency. The shortlist will be announced on September 16th, 2015 and all shortlisted candidates are invited to present their entry in front of our jury voting for the final winner. Live presentations will take place on November 18th, 2015 in Hong Kong – just a day before our Asia-Pacific Communications Summit.

The Asia-Pacific Communications Award ceremony will take place in Hong Kong on November 19th, 2015. Shortlisted applicants, jury members, Summit participants and other leading communication professionals from across the region will gather for what will be both a fantastic networking opportunity and a celebration of Asia-Pacific’s finest communications achievements. We invite you to take part in the very first Asia-Pacific Communications Award and celebrate your work and achievements with our APACD community!
