Following the success of similar events with Hong Bao Media in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur (full review here), we are now delighted to announce another expert-led session with CEO Mark Laudi - this time in wonderful Sydney about:
"Bridging the communication gap between Australia and Asia"
Date: Monday 21 August 2017
Time: 7:30 am -10:30 am (approx.) (AEST)
Venue: DIAGEO, 162 Blues Point Rd McMahons Point, Sydney
Despite Australia's long-established social and economic ties with Asia, gaps in cultural understanding can still lead to misunderstandings and disappointed expectations. We'll take a candid, practical look at how to bridge the communication gap between Australia and Asia at this APACD Coaching Day.
In this session we will tackle in particular:
- Communicating with internal stakeholders: Whether you report to regional headquarters in Singapore, Hong Kong or elsewhere in Asia, or your company has branch offices in Asia, there are steps you can take to improve your business outcomes through better communications with your colleagues in Asia.
- Reaching Asia markets: We consider key media trends in Asia for those APACD members looking to reach Asian B2B and B2C customers.
- Reaching Asian investors: Australian listed companies are keen to tap into Asia's wealth to finance their projects or to buy their stocks. But there are significant hurdles communicators must know how to deal with.
Please note that this will be an interactive workshop - not a lecture - and requires members' active contribution and full participation.
