Hong Bao Media is a full-service media consultancy which has been producing video communications content since 2006. The session will take place at the fully-functional green screen Hong Bao studios in Singapore, where the consultancy conducts its media and presentation skills training, and mentors senior corporate and government executives in building their public speaking skills and confidence.
Once registered, participants will receive a link to the survey to choose one of the following topics:
When is it ever okay to leverage a crisis for marketing?
One guerilla marketing tactic is to create communications campaigns that cleverly tap into contemporary issues, or ride on current events. The idea is to benefit from instant awareness, while providing a solution to the issue. But all too often, companies that do this end up apologising for shameless profiteering from the misfortune of others. So, where do you draw the line between a campaign that is topical and relevant, and one that is in bad taste? In this workshop, we discuss the questions you need to ask yourself before embarking on any campaign that leverages current events.
How to produce video content in-house
You are producing videos in-house for PR, marketing and internal communications purposes. But you are not getting the viewership you had hoped for, and what was a top communications priority has started to drift down the list of priorities. What can you do to attract a consistently strong, engaged audience that will soon see you producing a greater variety of evermore effective programs? This coaching day reviews the most important elements of internally-produced programs and has participants try their hand at presenting and producing a program in our TV studio.
Best practise in post-event marketing
Communications Directors stage a variety of events, ranging from press- and analysts' briefings, product and service launches, to partner conferences and annual sales kick-offs. But apart from all the time, effort and budget that is spent on such events, the most important aspect is what you do afterwards. Unfortunately, post-event marketing never gets as much attention as the event itself. In this workshop, we discuss the eight easy things all Communications Directors can , and frankly must do, to capture the value of their events.
