Following the success of our previous coaching day with Hong Bao Media on 12 April (full review here), we are delighted to announce another expert-led session with CEO Mark Laudi.
Date: Tuesday, 20 June
Time: 9:30 am - 12:30 pm
Venue: Bangunan Perdagangan D6-1-9, 800 Jalan Sentul, 51000 Kuala Lumpur
Hong Bao Media is a full-service media consultancy which has been producing video communications content since 2006.
The session will take place at the fully-functional green screen Hong Bao studios in Kuala Lumpur, where the consultancy conducts its media and presentation skills training, and mentors senior corporate and government executives in building their public speaking skills and confidence.
When is it ever okay to leverage a crisis for marketing?
One guerilla marketing tactic is to create communications campaigns that cleverly tap into contemporary issues, or ride on current events. The idea is to benefit from instant awareness, while providing a solution to the issue. But all too often, companies that do this end up apologising for shameless profiteering from the misfortune of others.
So, where do you draw the line between a campaign that is topical and relevant, and one that is in bad taste?
In this workshop, we discuss the questions you need to ask yourself before embarking on any campaign that leverages current events.
