Engaging with Stakeholders: How do companies live up to their responsibility towards society? A Conversation with Rob Stewart, UBS
Date & Time: Wednesday, November 19th from 12.30pm – 2.00pm
Venue: International Finance Corporation (One Pacific Place 88 Queensway, Admiralty, Hong Kong)
Asian companies are faced with a global challenge: while trust in businesses is levelling following the implosion in 2008/2009, the public believes that companies need to be kept in check, particularly in sectors that impact on environmental, health and economic wellbeing, such as financial institutions, energy and food. How does this affect firms' brand-marketing? What are companies doing to live up to the responsibilities that stakeholders are expecting? What role does corporate communications play in this? Is corporate responsibility altruistic or in companies’ best business interest – and how, then, do we communicate around it? This discussion features views on building public trust from Hong Kong-based corporate leader, UBS Chief Communications Officer APAC Rob Stewart.
The event will take place at IFC, One Pacific Place 88 Queensway, Admiralty, Hong Kong . Attendance is free of charge, compliments to the International Finance Corporation.
Please note that participation is limited on a first-come, first-served basis.
