About our speaker:
Hari Krishnan, Managing Director, Asia Pacific & Japan - LinkedIn
As LinkedIn’s first employee in the Asia region, Mr Krishnan was the country manager for LinkedIn India from November 2009 until December 2012. Under his leadership, LinkedIn India crossed several milestones including member growth of over 300% and offices in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. Mr Krishnan has a strong entrepreneurial experience in building businesses in Asia and abroad. He led the market entry for two hyper-growth Internet companies into the vibrant Indian market and has worked in leadership positions in companies, such as Fox Interactive Media, Yahoo! and Cisco Systems. He has served as an advisory board member for multiple startup companies in the digital industry. He brings diverse business experience having led functions in Corporate Planning, Strategic Alliances, Marketing & Product Management and has been associated with the internet industry for over 10 years. His previous stint before joining LinkedIn was as Country Head for MySpace India. In his current role, Mr Krishnan's focus is to help LinkedIn serve its membership base and customers. Consistent with LinkedIn’s mission, he aims to connect all professionals in APAC and Japan to make them more productive and successful.
