The Asia-Pacific Association of Communication Directors will be hosting another highly engaging Hong Kong showcase event: Measuring communications – can you do it?
Date: Thursday, 19 October 2017
Time: 7:00pm to 8:45pm (Registration at 6:30pm)
Venue: UBS, Level 52, Two International Financial Center, 8 Finance Street, Central*
RSVP: By no later than Tuesday, 17 October 2017
This session delves deep into one of the most challenging questions facing the PR and communications industry: how far can we quantify the impact of what we’re doing? As communicators we operate in environments where all parts of the business have to justify their impact on the bottom line. Our stakeholders are often numbers-driven and expect the same from us, but PR and communications are often more art than science. Or are they?
We are pleased to have Fritz Quinn, Vice President, Public Affairs and Communications, Asia at American Express for the opening showcase presentation followed by an interactive experts’ panel session and the opportunity for questions. Joining Fritz on the panel session moderated by committee member Harry Thompson from HSBC are:
- Stephen Thomas, Group Head of Corporate Communications, AIA Group,
- Rob Stewart, Chief Communications Officer Asia Pacific, UBS
- Wendy She, Head of Internal Communications – Hong Kong, Bupa.
*Note that ID must be shown by all visitors at the Ground Floor registration desk of 2IFC.
We are pleased to invite all APACD members and interested peers to attend. The event will be free-of-charge for members and their guests, but space is limited so please register early to secure a seat.
Special thanks to Rob Stewart and UBS for hosting the event at their space and to Lisa Macmillan and VMA & Ed Riley and Telum Media for sponsoring the food and beverage.
We look forward to welcoming you!
